Jerome Thiebaud is the SharePoint Designer product manager. Microsoft® Office SharePoint® Designer 2007 is a Web site development and management program that provides powerful tools for delivering rich and attractive SharePoint sites. Born in Paris, France, Jerome got his MBA from Duke University in 1998. In his spare time, Jerome enjoys hiking, cooking, biking, skiing, reading and photography. In his role, Jerome focuses on the inbound/outbound marketing for SharePoint Designer 2007 including training, deployment, licensing, PR/AR, and customer interaction. A significant portion of Jerome's time will be spent in FY08 on SharePoint Designer v-next.

I am currently the Global Escalation Manager for Office. I have spent over 10 years with the Product group for FrontPage, FrontPage Server Extensions and SharePoint. My capacity as part of the SharePoint team had been to get involved early on during the Alpha milestones to address supportability, Training and PSS release management. I developed all the FrontPage and SharePoint Designer training and also served as the Escalation Engineer for in-market products.

Prolific blogger and Sr. Technical Product Manager for SharePoint Products and Technologies, Joel Oleson owns the technical messaging and product positioning for the IT Professional audience. With more than 10 years of experience in the Internet Industry, Joel has a vast background in web technologies. First, starting out with Internet and intranet application web design including enterprise backend data storage. Later he moved into design and infrastructure architecture, engineering, and operations. Previous to his 6 years at Microsoft, Joel spent a few years at a McCaw Telco designing extranets and deploying intranet business applications. His first experience on Microsoft campus came in the form of a contract job at Slate.com managing the staged deployment including web publishing aspects of a daily webzine. In 2000 he was brought in to lead the initial deployment and service offering of an early version of both SharePoint Team Services and SharePoint Portal Server which would become the largest and most influential deployment of SharePoint Products and Technologies. Over the next 5 years he would play the role of lead architect in deployment of Microsoft’s global intranet portal and collaboration service offering. He rarely misses an opportunity to present at world wide Tech Eds.

Eray Chou is a Lead Program Manager on the Microsoft Office SharePoint Designer team. He is focused primarily on data integration and general application building features. During the Office 2007 release, he worked on Data Views and Web Part integration. In addition to his work on SharePoint Designer, Eray led the design and development for the Application Templates for Windows SharePoint Services 3.0 and occasionally contributes to the SharePoint Designer team blog. In his spare time, Eray enjoys cooking and playing guitar
