Topics covered include capacity and performance planning and testing, storage design and deployment tips and tricks.

This track consists of sessions on the key operations and administration tasks that keep a SharePoint Serve Deployment in shape and running smoothly. Sessions cover topics like Backup and restore, Disaster recovery, High Availability, Performance Tuning and Monitoring, as well as lessons learned by the Microsoft IT and Product Support groups.

Track 2

Enterprise Content Management, Collaboration and Social Computing

Sessions in the Enterprise Content Management and Search track are focused on deep technical know-how around Compliance, Information Architecture, Document and Records Management and deploying SharePoint Server on the Internet for your .COM site. In addition, we will have rich sessions based on real world solutions that cover different aspects of an Enterprise Search Solution from design to deployment to management.

Come learn more about the collaboration features and functionality in SharePoint Server. We’ll have sessions on the different approaches and tactics for delivering rich collaboration and social computing applications. Topics covered include My Sites, the Community Kit for SharePoint, end user training, Office client integration and much more!

Track 3

Business Applications, Interoperability and Business Process Management

This track is all about building business applications and solutions on the SharePoint platform. From building and integrating workflow into business processes to using SharePoint Designer to quickly build applications to using the Business Data Catalog to interoperate wit LOB applications, this track will cover the different possibilities of building and deploying custom applications and solutions on the SharePoint Server platform.

A strong management and governance plan is an essential aspect of a successful infrastructure. This track aims to highlight and clarify the tools, approaches and best practices that you need to know about to manage and govern your SharePoint solution. Based on customer experience with real world examples, you’ll learn about hosting, security, management and reporting tools.
